21 AND BEYOND

Hi guys,

I apologize for the lack of updates. Things have been so busy! Anyways first things first, I turned 21 about a week ago. I plan to make a post on lessons learned through the years so watch out for that 🙂 I would like to thank everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday ❤ I love you all.

This past week was busy in school, I held my first solo event “the story of stuff” and my name tag was given to me. Yay! I didn’t even know that I would get one.

This upcoming week will be one of my busiest weeks, please pray for me. I have two group projects due and one report. Actually one of my group’s stuff is due tomorrow, I thought it was at noon so I was really freaking out because one of my group members wasn’t responding to my messages. I have found out that it’s due at midnight so I am calm for now.

Today was a good day, I finally bought phone airtime,  I went to African mass and I ate yam porridge, fried rice and meat(the struggle for good food, LOL). Followed my family friends to Cotsco and then I went to work unplanned because my boss forgot to schedule people to work today and tomorrow. I really like working here so I volunteered to come in. It’s really cool because as at 11:30pm  about 10 people were still there, I am glad we didn’t let them down by closing for no reason.

Today is the first Sunday of Advent. Initially, I wanted to give up social media like lent and do ‘Advent with Pope JP2 reflections’ but I need them so bad for work so I will try to use them only when necessary. I might still do Advent with Pope JP 2 reflections. We’ll see.

I would also appreciate if you prayed for my friend’s uncle who is scheduled for surgery and for me to stay calm and remember that “All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well”(Quote by Blessed Julian of Norwich)

By the way, this was the second week in a row that I didn’t attend Sunday mass at St Mary’s. It feels so weird. LOL, I miss my parishhhhh.

Here are some pictures of how I look at 21

After closing at midnight, it was so good to eat the already prepared rice in my fridge. Note to self: Always prepare meals ahead of time and no more buying food(not groceries! I mean already prepared food) until next year.

Peace, love, and Joy,

Fehintola
